George Pankonin
A Private Celebration of Life Service for George Pankonin age 97 of Springfield and formerly of rural Jeffers will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 4th, at the United Methodist Church in Jeffers with Chaplain Noel Wetter officiating. Private burial will follow at the Red Rock Cemetery.
George Pankonin passed away Saturday, September 26th at the St. John’s Lutheran Home in Springfield.
Due to Covid-19 related reasons George’s service will be private. The service will be livestreamed on the LaCanne Family Funeral Service Facebook page the day of the service. George’s family invites friends and family to leave comments and/or memories at www.lacannefuneralhome.com or during the service at the LaCanne Family Funeral Service Facebook page for a way to celebrate his life.
George’s family will distribute memorials to several charities. Memorials can be sent to: Bruce Pankonin 2210 Xene Lane North, Plymouth, MN 55447.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of the LaCanne Family Funeral Service.
