Dianne Marie (Wurscher) Eis was born on July 17, 1944, in Vesta, MN, to Lawrence and Gertrude (Pistulka) Wurscher.  She grew up in Seaforth and attended St. Anne’s Catholic School in Wabasso.  On September 29, 1962, she was united in marriage to Richard “Dick” Eis.  The couple farmed and raised their family on a farm near Seaforth.  Dianne also worked at the Social Security Office, for the Bremer Bank Trust Department, and for Southwest Minnesota State University for almost 20 years.  Although she grew up in town, Dianne was quite well suited for farm life.  She was the bond of the family and involved with social activities and family rituals.  She was an excellent seamstress and sewed much of the family clothing including wedding dresses for her daughters.  Her faith was very important to her.  Dianne was an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  She taught CCD and was a member of the Christian Mother’s group.  She came from a very musical family and enjoyed singing in the church choir.  Dianne was a voracious reader and enjoyed current events, history and other topics.  She and Dick were very social and belonged to several local organizations and clubs in Seaforth.  The couple moved to Marshall in 2018 and were active members of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.

Dianne died on Monday, October 17, 2022, at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.  She is survived by her husband, Dick Eis, of Marshall, daughter Renita Eis McBride of Marshall, daughter Karla (and Chad) Arends of Wabasso, son David (and Lori) Eis of Wabasso, daughter Kristen (and Dustin) Eis Cvancara of Prior Lake; grandchildren Kane McBride, Eavan McBride, Mathias (and Annemieke) Antony, Jacob Arends, Levi Arends, Noah Arends, Zac (and Tina) Eis, Brittney (and Josh) Goche, Jayden Eis, Lucas Cvancara, Gabrielle Cvancara and Victoria Cvancara; six great-grandchildren; siblings Donald Wurscher, Richard (and Elaine) Wurscher, David (and Roxanne) Wurscher; brother-in-law David Bernardy and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
