Dermont Wells age 82 , of Springfield, MN died on July 24, 2020, in Springfield, MN.

A public visitation will be on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, from 8:30 am to 11:00 am at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Springfield, MN.

A private service will be held at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Springfield on Wednesday.

The clergy will be Pastor Tricia Mattson. Interment will be at the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.

Dermont Wells was born on September 19, 1937, to Raymond and Selma (Bensen) Wells in Lamberton, MN. He attended school in Lamberton. On November 6, 1955, Dermont was united in marriage to Bonnie Bielen at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Springfield, MN. The couple owned and operated Wells Tiling in Springfield where he spent countless hours farm tiling. Dermont and Bonnie spent time during the summer at Green Lake at their cabin. They enjoyed their time in retirement in Mesa, Arizona during the winter months. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Dermont enjoyed fishing, hunting, trapping, and camping. Time with his family was always enjoyed as was coffee with his friends.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie; children – Shari (Ken) Koll, Calvin Wells (Renae Scholten), Jeffery (Kimberly) Wells, and Rachelle (Dean) Halvorson; 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild; and sister – Jan (Andrew) DeBlieck. Dermont was preceded in death by his parents; great granddaughter Katrina Wells; brothers – Roger and James; and 2 sisters – Joyce and Vicki.
