Dennis C. Sellner age 83, of Sleepy Eye, MN died on January 25, 2021, at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.

Memorial Service will be held at the Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye Chapel, on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 11:00 am.

Friends may call on the family from 9am to 11am prior to the service.

Covid-19 rules and regulations will be followed including the use of masks and social distancing.

The clergy will be Father Mark Steffl.

Interment will be at a later date.

Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye, MN.

Dennis Charles Sellner was born on November 29, 1937 in Sleepy Eye, MN to George & Julia (Hillesheim) Sellner. He attended District #11 Country School and graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Sleepy Eye. He married Mary Seidl on June 2, 1960 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. Dennis farmed his entire life and was a Seed Corn Dealer for about 15 years. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and Catholic Aid Association. He enjoyed riding motorcycle, bowling, watching television, travel and tractor pulling. and the Love of farming and he also got his Grandson Lee started. He also liked brain puzzles, Sudoko Puzzle books, playing cards especially Sheephead with neighbors, friends and residents at Ross Park.

Dennis is survived by wife, Mary Sellner, son, Steven (Joleen) Sellner, daughter, Christine (Matt) Steffen, grandchildren, Lee (Melissa) Sellner and Bryan (Amanda) Sellner, Bobbi Jo Hauth and Stephanie (Andy) Fromm, 10 great grandchildren, Ava, Carson, Levi, Landon, David, Cheyanne, James, Bryar, Bode and Harley, brothers & sisters, Donald Sellner, Marjorie Reiner, Elaine (Sister Claren) Sellner, Everett (Mary Jane) Sellner, Sister Phyllis Sellner and Grace Strangis and sisters-in-law, Beverly Sellner and Diane Riebel. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Robert Sellner, Clarence Sellner, Wilbert Sellner, Cyrilla (John) Manderfeld, Marie (Glen) Roiger, Jerome Sellner, George Sellner and sister-in-law Alice Sellner, brothers-in-law Ralph Strangis, Edward Reiner and father and mother-in-law, Edmund & Alvina Seidl.
