Colleen Moore, 94, formerly of Redwood Falls, passed away on February 4, 2021 at White Pine Assisting Living of Mendota Heights, Minnesota. Graveside service will be at a later date in the Bethlehem Cemetery in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. A Celebration of Life will be held in the summer when it is safer for the community to attend.

Colleen Joy Moore was born on February 5, 1926 to Elias and Annette (Lindquist) Hanson in Elbow Lake, Minnesota. Colleen grew up in Elbow Lake and Fergus Falls, graduating from Fergus Falls High School. After graduation she moved to Minneapolis, Osseo and finally to Redwood Falls. On May 28, 1949 she married Burton Moore in Fergus Falls, making their home in Redwood Falls. She worked as a secretary for John Dieseth Co, Bank Insurance Dept and Burt Moore Sales. She also had her own Secretarial Service with partner, Mary Ann Gray. She worked as a secretary at the First Northwestern State Bank in Osseo and later as a secretary for Dirlam Realty in Redwood Falls.

Colleen was a member of First United Methodist Church of Redwood Falls, where she was a church board secretary, taught Sunday School, Release Time teacher and Bible School teacher. She also served on the United Way Campaign for several years. She helped organize the Redwood Concert Series and served on the board member for 20 years.

Colleen is survived by her sons, Bradley (Carolyn Borow Moore) of Mendota Heights and Richard Moore of Willmar. Grandson, Satchel Moore and granddaughter, Harper Moore. Sister, Sally Jones of Pocatello, Idaho.

Colleen is preceded in death by her husband, Burt, siblings, Donald Hanson, Barbera Hermes, and Patricia Stock.
