Charlotte Bratsch, age 76, of Danube, MN died Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the Olivia Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Olivia.  Funeral services will be Monday, August 16, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Zion United Methodist Church in Danube with Pastor Krey Leesman officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church.  Arrangements by Dirks-Blem Funeral Service, Olivia, MN.

Charlotte Jean Bratsch was born May 9, 1945 at Olivia, Minnesota to Anthony and Marie (vanLeeuwe) Kieffer.  She grew up in Olivia and graduated from Olivia High School in 1963.  Charlotte married Harvey Bratsch on September 7, 1963.  They farmed in the area before moving back to the family farm south of Danube.  Charlotte was a farm wife that encompassed all aspects of the role whether it was taking care of the family or helping with the daily chores.  She worked at the Aquarius Café in Danube and the Senior Center in Olivia.   She enjoyed vegetable gardening, making wedding and birthday cakes, silk flowers, fishing, sewing, traveling, playing solitaire and schnozzle at card parties.  She was a faithful member of Zion United Methodist Church in Danube.

Charlotte is survived by her husband, Harvey Bratsch of Danube; her three children: Sheldon Bratsch (Lisa Knoll) of New Ulm, Catherine (Keith) Lillis of Eau Claire, Stacy Bratsch (Tywan Carter) of Chaska; her four grandchildren: James Zaske, Jamie Bratsch, Mercedes Bratsch, Mackenzie Bratsch; her four great-grandchildren, and her brother Arnie (Linda) Kieffer of Portland, OR.  Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Jim Kieffer and Margie Kieffer.
