Carol Hazel Jensen was born on July 29, 1938, the daughter of Arnold and Elsie Jensen in Springfield, MN. She attended and graduated from Springfield High School. On November 16, 1958 she married Duane Isaksen at Sundown Lutheran Church in Springfield and they began building their lives together. Carol was a “jack of all trades” as she held various jobs throughout her lifetime. She loved anything and everything related to birds, knitting, reading, and playing games. Carol also enjoyed watching the sunsets over Osakis Lake. Recently, her kind heart led her to knit sleeves for patients undergoing dialysis to keep their arms warm during the procedure.

Left to treasure her memory are her daughters – Gwen (Patrick) Zeman of Fridley, MN and Dawn Isaksen of Minneapolis, MN and many other family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Duane; parents, Arnold and Elsie; and 2 brothers, Gene and Lowell Jensen.
