Ardell Coulter age 96, of Lamberton, died on April 23, at the Valley View Manor in Lamberton.

A private family will service will take place at the Sturm Funeral Home in Lamberton.

The clergy will be Todd Mathison. Interment will be at the Lamberton Cemetery.

Ardell Mary Ann Anderson (Coulter) was born September 17, 1923, in Lamberton Township, Redwood County, the daughter of Ole and Mary (Baumann) Anderson. Ardell was baptized on November 4, 1923, at Sharon Lutheran Church in Lamberton. She lived in the Lamberton area her entire life and attended Lamberton schools, graduating from Lamberton High School. Ardell married Kenneth Coulter and the couple made their home on a farm northwest of Lamberton in Lamberton Township, where they farmed for 38 years. In October of 1987, they retired from farming and moved into Lamberton. Ardell was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Lamberton. She enjoyed correspondence, gardening and flowers, and was a fan of the Minnesota Twins and Vikings.

She is survived by her sons Dennis Coulter of Fullerton, ND and Steve and his wife Nancy Coulter of Hartley, IA, and her grandsons Jeff Coulter of Roseville, MN and David Coulter and his wife Alison Coulter of Carbondale, IL. She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Coulter, parents, 5 brothers – Valerius, Sylvester, Elmer, Wilbert, and Melvin Anderson, and sister Majora Anderson.
