Ann Theresia (Revier) Dixon was born to Ralph and Theresia Revier on August 6, 1939, on a farm north of Franklin. At six years old her family moved to Redwood Falls, where she attended Redwood Falls High School, graduating in 1957. After graduating from the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul with a BS in nursing, Ann left the Minnesota winters behind to take a RN position at a small, private hospital in Kahuku, on the island of Oahu, Hawaii.  Ann met Air Force pilot Cap. Louie Dixon on a blind date when he was stationed at Hickam Air Base in Hawaii. They married at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Redwood Falls on September 23, 1963, her parents’ 50th anniversary.  Ann and Louie settled near Andrews Air Force Base by Washington DC, where their children Joshua, Jonathan, and Theresia were born. In later years the family moved to San Bernardino, CA, Hillsboro, OR, and finally to Redwood Falls.  After Louie died in 1983, Ann returned to nursing, first at the Redwood Falls Hospital, then at the Franklin nursing home.

Ann Dixon is survived by her children: Joshua (Shawn), Jonathan, Theresia; older siblings: Ralph Revier Jr. and Sister Mary Sarto Revier; and many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents Ralph Revier Sr. and Theresia (Voltin) Revier, husband Louie, infant son Louie Jr., and older siblings: Gabriel, David, Theresia, Louise, Mary, Mildred (Paulette), Dolores, Regina, Mary Ellen, Agnes, and Joseph.
