He was born November 18, 1922, to R.W. and Ella (Bahnsen) Drusch in Morgan Township, Redwood County, Minnesota.  He was baptized and confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church in Morgan, where he was a lifelong member.  He attended District 109 country school.
Albin married Delores Jane Grabow on August 8, 1948, at the Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Eden Township. They had four children, Donna (Dudley) Leonard of Truman, Ardis (Darvin) Schiller of Morgan, Janet (Doug) Koll of Sleepy Eye, and Dean Drusch of Morgan.
Albin was employed as the derrick crane operator for Cold Spring Granite at Morton and tended a small hobby farm until his retirement.  He had a sharp mind and often told stories of the past, sometimes going back 90 years.  He enjoyed listening to old-time music while woodworking, watching Twins baseball, hunting and fishing in his younger years, working on antique engines with Friends of Gilfillan and helping out on the family farm.  He resided at Gil-Mor Manor since November 30, 2023.
Surviving him are his daughters Ardis and Janet, sons-in-law Dudley, Darvin and Doug, son Dean, 12 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by Delores, his wife of 61 years, daughter Donna, son-in-law Dennis Schiller, sister and brother-in law Elda and Gilbert Kalk and in-laws Sylvester Grabow, and Wanda and Marvin Batzlaff.
Blessed be his memory.
