Alan L. Palmer, age 76 of Redwood Falls formerly of rural Wabasso, passed away while surrounded by his family, on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at New Ulm Medical Center. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 18 at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Cemetery, rural Wabasso. Family and friends are able to gather at the cemetery beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 18, and are encouraged to bring a lawn chair. Lunch and fellowship will follow at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Wabasso. Alan is survived by spouse of 51 ½ years, Lois Palmer (Neumann); children: Debra (Leigh) Burlingame of St Charles, Lori (Curt) Lamb of Almond, WI, Daniel of Big Arm, MT and Ted (Angie) of rural Wabasso on the family farm; grandchildren: Alexander, Eduardo and Li Ann Burlingame and Cade, Carlee, and Tanner Lamb; sister, Diana Hoppe of Trenton, MO, brother-in-law, James Putnam of Winnebago, uncle, Herold Palmer of Brainerd; and many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Kathleen Palmer and Karen Putnam and brother-in-law, Larry Hoppe.
