Garman Signs with UW-Stout to Continue Basketball Career

Redwood Valley Senior Haley Garman signed her letter of intent today to continue her Basketball career at the University of Wisconsin-Stout.

Haley on what made UW-Stout stand out as her top choice:

“Stout offered me a great place to earn my degree. It was a beautiful campus and it also offered me the chance to continue playing basketball. It is 3 hours from home which is nice that it’s close but yet far away. The town was a lot like Redwood just a little bigger. They have a lake in town, along with a lot of hiking trails and parks to explore. I love exploring all the parks,  enjoying nature and I could see myself at Menomonie. I knew instantly once I stepped on campus that it was the right fit for me. ”

Other schools she looked at:

“I looked at The College of Saint Benedict, Gustavus Adolphus College, and St. Catherine University”

Any plans for a major in college or still undecided:

“I plan on majoring in Criminal Justice and Rehabilitation and minoring in psychology. ”
