A Wood Lake man was injured in a Yellow Medicine County collision Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at about 2:47 p.m. on Feb. 25, a 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis drivn by Maurice Heber Joel, age 90, of Wood Lake, was westbound on County Road 18. At the intersection of Highway 23, Joel collided with a 2017 Dodge Carevan driven by Joel Mark Schultz, age 50, of Marshall.

Maurice Joel’s  Grand Marquis then collided with a 2011 Ford Fusion driven by Richard William Daniels, age 57, of Hanley Falls.

Maurice Joel was transported to the Granite Falls hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office, Hanley Falls Fire Department, and Cottonwood Ambulance assisted at the scene.
