A Windom woman was injured when the car she was driving was in a collision Sunday afternoon.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on April 16 Breeanna Marie Blue, age 27, of Windom, was driving a 2020 Ford Escape on an Highway 60. At about 4:50 p.m., her vehicle collided with a 2007 Toyota Prius that had apparently been abandoned on the icy road by driver Diego Ivan Juarado, age 28, of Windom.

Blue was transported to the hospital in Windom with non-life threatening injuries.

Assisting on the scene were the Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office, and the Mountain Lake Police and Fire Departments and EMS.
