Willmar man killed in single-vehicle crash Tuesday

A Willmar man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Tuesday morning.

At about 11:56 a.m. on April 20, the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office was called to a motor vehicle crash at the 1000 block of County Road 4, about a mile and a half south of Hwy 12. Preliminary investigation showed a 1997 Ford Ranger, driven by Jeffrey Isdal, age 61 of Willmar, had been headed south on County Road 4 and left the roadway where the driver struck a tree. Isdal was pronounced dead on scene.

The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Atwater Police Department, Atwater Fire Department, Atwater Ambulance, Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad, Centracare Ambulance, Life link Air Ambulance.
