Unconditional bail has been set at $75,000 for a Willmar man accused of a crime spree last weekend which included arson, a police chase, damaging police squad cars and injuring a police officer.

Michael Seys, age 39, is accused of starting a vehicle on fire with gasoline in an apartment parking lot early Saturday morning, then leading police on a chase and in the process striking 4 police vehicles and disabling one, and causing minor injuries to an officer.

He faces 11 charges including 2nd Degree Arson, Fleeing Police in a Motor Vehicle, 2nd Degree Assault, 4 counts of Criminal Damage to Property, 2 counts of Obstruction of The Legal Process, and 2 counts of DWI. Six of the charges are felonies. Seys made his first court appearance via video Tuesday before Judge Stephen Wentzell, and his next court appearance is set for May 10th.
