Two area women were injured Friday in separate collisions on Highway 212 in McLeod County Friday morning.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at about 7:56 a.m., an eastbound 2012 Ford Focus driven by Emma Christina Thompson, age 21, of Gaylord, was attempting to turn left onto Chandler Ave. and collided with a westbound 2007 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Michael Ehren Stuart, age 24, of Andover.

Thompson was taken to the Glencoe hospital emergency room with non-life threatening injuries.

About three hours later, at about 11:08 a.m. on Nov. 6, a 2019 Ford Econoline driven by Adam Jay Koehn, age 44, of Meyer, was southbound on Dairy Ave. when it collided on Highway 212 with an eastbound 2019 Lexus being driven by Renata Jean Guetter, age 64, of Wabasso.

Guetter’s vehicle then collided with a 2004 Frieightliner semi-truck driven by Matthew Jay Brinkman, age 22, of Glencoe. that had been waiting to make a right turn onto Highway 212.

Guetter was transported to the Glencoe emergency room with non-life threatening injuries. No other drivers were injured.

The Glencoe Fire Department and Allina Ambulance assisted at the scene of both accidents.
