Vesta man injured in Highway 19 collision Monday

A Vesta man was injured Monday morning in a collision with a tow-truck on Highway 19.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on Feb. 20 Charles Warren Nelson, age 65, of Redwood Falls, had a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado tow truck parked on Highway 19, near Impala Avenue. At about 11:13 a.m., the tow truck was crashed into by Burton Ervin Bock, age 85, driving a westbound 2019 Chevrolet Equinox on wet roads.

Mock was taken to CentraCare – Redwood with non-life threatening injuries. Assisting on the scene were the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, Redwood County EMS, and Redwood Falls Police Department.
