Unoccupied house burns in Yellow Medicine County

An unoccupied house burned in Yellow Medicine County last Wednesday.

On Nov. 27, at about 3:36 a.m., the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call of a house fire on the 500 Block of 9th Ave. in the City of Clarkfield.

No one was currently living at the residence at the time of the fire, and there were no injuries reported during the fire. The cause of the fire is unknown and it is being investigated by the Minnesota State Fire Marshal and Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office.
