Two Willmar residents arrested after task force finds pills laced with fentanyl

A 32 year old Willmar man and 33 year old Willmar woman are in custody in the Kandiyohi County Jail on 1st Degree Controlled Substance and firearms related charges.

On Monday, Sept. 26, the CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force performed a narcotics search warrant at their residence in the 400 block of 15th St SW in the City of Willmar.

Agents located approximately 625 fake Oxycodone M30 pills that tested positive for the presence of fentanyl in the residence near a loaded handgun. Also, the male suspect was found to be in the possession of a large amount of cash which is believed to be the proceeds from drug sales.

The CEE-VI Task Force was assisted during the search warrant execution by the Willmar Police Department, the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office and the MN Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
