Two currently unidentified Minnesota men were arrested in Willmar Friday morning for selling drugs.

The two, a 37 year old from St. Paul, and a 32 year old from Lauderdale, are in custody in the Kandiyohi County jail for 1st degree controlled substance sales charges.

On Friday, May 8, at about 1:33 a.m., the CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force arrested the men after witnessing a drug transaction in the parking lot of a Willmar business. During the incident, agents recovered over two ounces of cocaine, several thousand dollars in cash, digital scales, marijuana, drug packaging material, and ammunition for handguns.

The task force was assisted at the scene by the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, and the Willmar Police Department. The incident is still under investigation.
