Two men died in a collision in Kandiyohi County collision on Saturday.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on Sept. 24, August Faber, age 86, of Lake Lillian was driving a Ford Edge westbound on Highway 7, while Jacob Thomas Dahlheimer, age 35, of Faribault, was driving a GMC Yukon southbound on 195th Street SE. At about 4:30 p.m., the vehicle collided at the intersection.

Faber and Dahlheimer were both declared deceased at the scene. Faber’s passenger, Gertrude Faber, age 83, of Lake Lillian, was transported to the Hennepin County Medical Center with believed life-threatening injuries.

Assisting at the scene were the Meeker County and Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Offices, Lake Lillian Fire Department and ambulance, Cosmos Fire Department, Life Link, and Hutchinson ambulance.
