Two men were injured in a collision in Yellow Medicine County Tuesday evening.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at about 6 p.m. on March 30, a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado driven by William Joseph Robinson, age 62, of Slayton, was traveling southbound on Highway 23 near Hanley Falls. At the intersection with 510th Street, Robinson’s vehicle collided with a northbound 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Leighton Riley Helmuth, age 18, of Raymond.

Both drivers suffered non-life threatening injuries. Robinson was transported to the hospital in Marshall, while Helmuth was taken to the hospital in Granite Falls.

Assisting at the scene were the Upper Sioux Police Department, Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Department, Cottonwood Ambulance, and Hanley Falls Fire Department.
