Two injured in Kandiyohi County collision Wednesday morning

Two people were injured in a Kandiyohi County collision Wednesday morning.

On Sept. 13, at about 7:18 a.m., the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office learned of a motor vehicle accident with injuries at the intersection of 90th Ave SE and Co Rd 8 SE.
Deputies determined a 2012 Dodge pickup with trailer driven by Joshua Litzau, age 39, of Atwater had been stopped at the stop sign at the intersection. A 2008 Chrysler van driven by Brian Dean Morris, age 46, from Atwater was traveling north on Co Rd 8. As both vehicles entered the intersection, they collided.
Litzau and his passenger were not injured , but Morris and his passenger, Jordan Rodriquez, age 22, from Rosamond, CA were transported to CentraCare-Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar for non-life threatening injuries. Road conditions were dry with dense fog at the time of crash. This crash remains under investigation.
Assisting the Sheriff’s Office were Atwater Ambulance and Lake Lillian Fire Department.
