Two men were injured, one seriously, in a Kandiyohi County collision Saturday morning.
On May 7, at about 7:40 a.m., the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two vehicle crash with injuries at the intersection of Co Rd 5 and Co Rd 40 NW in Lake Andrew Township.
Deputies noted a 2004 GMC truck had collided with a 2015 Ford van. The driver of the GMC was an 80-year-old male from Pennock who sustained possible life-threatening injuries. The driver of the van was identified as a 29-year-old male from Morton who sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Assisting the sheriff’s office were New London Fire, Sunburg Ambulance, Centra-Care Ambulance, Lakes Area First Responders, Life Link Air Ambulance and the Minnesota State Patrol.
The crash remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office.
