Two people were injured in a four-vehicle crash in Renville County Thursday afternoon.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at about 4:58 p.m., two Ford pickups and a Dodge pickup were all traveling westward on Highway 212, while a Hyundai SUV was traveling eastward.

At about 4:58 p.m. the Ford pickup driven by Timothy James Peppel, age 20, of Olivia, slowed down to turn south onto 370th Street when all four vehicles collided.

Peppel was uninjured in the crash, as was a 17 year old male driving the other Ford pickup. Jose Daniel Pabon Quinonez, age 30, of Olivia, the driver of the Dodge Ram, was uninjured, but his passenger, Dalmaris Olivia Salas, age 42, of Long Prairie, was transported to North Memorial Hospital with unspecified injuries. Kimberly Ann Bird, age 42, of Stewart, the driver of the Hyundai SUV, was transported to the hospital in Olivia with non-life threatening injuries.

Assisting the Highway Patrol on the scene were the Olivia Police and Fire Departments, and the Renville County Sheriff’s Department.
