Two dead, two injured in Highway 14 crash near Walnut Grove Wednesday

Two people died and two others injured in a crash on Highway 14 in Redwood County Wednesday night.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at about 8:30 p.m. a minivan and an SUV collided at the intersection of Highway 14 and Balsa Avenue, between Walnut Grove and Tracy.

Maiyang Moua, 55, was driving the minivan southbound on Balsa Avenue.  Moua and her passenger, Saibert Moua, 67, both of Tracy, were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The SUV driver, Victor V. Lee, 48, of Walnut Grove, was transported to a Westbrook hospital with life-threatening injuries. Lee’s passenger, Kia Xiong, 40, of Walnut Grove, was transported to a hospital in Marshall with non-life threatening injuries.
