Two people were arrested in Willmar Wednesday after law enforcement found illegal drugs and guns in a residence.

On March 15, the CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force executed a narcotics and weapons search warrant at a home in the 400 Block of NW 30th St in Willmar. During the search, task force agents located about 830 suspected fentanyl pills, over a half ounce of cocaine, two handguns, one rifle and cash believed to be the proceeds of drug sales.
Two of the firearms seized were “Ghost Guns”, firearms that have no serial number and can be made at home from weapon-parts kits that can be purchased online without background checks.
Two individuals were arrested in this case and additional arrests are anticipated. The Task Force was assisted in this case by the Willmar Police Department SWAT Team and a medic from the Kandi-Meeker SWAT Team.
