Traffic Safety Improvements Implemented in Renville County: New Four-Way Stops Installed to Save Lives

To improve traffic safety, Renville County has turned some rural intersections into four-way stops.

The Renville County Public Works Department installed new stop signs at the intersections of County Road 5 and County Road 4 South of Bird Island, and County Road 1 and County Road 4 South of Danube.  Both of these intersections are now four-way stops.

With the number of accidents and deaths that have occurred at these intersections in the past, these traffic safety improvements were implemented in order to try and save lives.  Renville County asks the public to be aware of these safety improvements and to completely stop at all stop signs.
