Tracy couple injured on icy roads Saturday

A Tracy couple were injured when their vehicle slid off icy roads in Lincoln County on Saturday.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at about 11:45 a.m. on Dec. 28, David Warren Schilling, age 69, and Julie Ann Schilling, age 64, both of Tracy, were traveling on Highway 14 east of Lake Benton. Their 1995 Pontiac van entered a curve and lost control on the slushy road.

David Schilling and Julie Ann Schilling were both transported to the Tyler Health Center with non-life threatening injuries. The Lake Benton First Responders and Fire Department, and the Tyler Ambulance assisted at the scene.
