Three Tracy residents injured in Highway 14 collision Wednesday evening

Three residents of Tracy were injured when their vehicles collided in Redwood County Wednesday evening.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on Sept. 20 a jeep SUV driven by Donald Dean Hanson, age 77, was eastbound on Highway 14, as was a 2016 Chevrolet ambulance being driven by Charles Louis Deschepper, age 73. Shortly before 9 p.m, the vehicles collided near Lyon-Redwood Road.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital in Tracy with non-life threatening injuries, as was Deschepper’s passenger, Kimberly Kay Pederse, age 55.

Assisting on the scene were the Tracy Police, Fire, and Ambulance departments, and the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
