Three South Dakota senior citizens were injured when the car went off the road near Granite Falls Saturday night.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at about 11:25 p.m. on Oct. 23, Ronald Leroy Henrichs, age 75, of Watertown, South Dakota, was driving a 2003 Dodge Dakota westbound on Highway 212. Near the intersection with 310th Ave., Henrichs left the road onto the shoulder, and rolled the car in the ditch.

Henrichs was transported to the Granite Falls hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Also injured and sent to the Granite Falls hospital were Henrichs’ passengers, Ronald Wesley Crocker, and Shirley Jean Crocker, both 82 and also from Watertown.

Assisting on the scene were the Upper Sioux Police Department, the Granite Falls Police Department, and the Granite Falls Fire Department and Ambulance.
