Three Stewart residents were injured in a Renville County collision on Saturday afternoon.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at about 12:40 p.m., a 1990 Ford Mustang driven by Russell Authur Korson, age 51, was eastbound on Highway 212. At the intersection with County Road 16, Korson’s vehicle collided with a southbound 2018 Ford Escape being driven by William Thomas Bade, age 45, of Elk River.

Korson was taken to the Olivia Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, along with his passengers, Haley Joe Korson, age 14, and Isabella June Korson, age 11.

The Renville County Sheriff’s Office, Olivia Ambulance, Bird Island Medical, and Hector Fire Department and medical teams assisted at the scene.
