Three people were injured in a Renville County collision Monday morning.

According to the Renville County Sheriff’s Office, on Oct. 10, at 6:58 a.m., the Renville County Sheriff’s Office received a  911 call reporting a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Renville County Roads 11 and 21, about three  miles northeast of Renville.  

Responders on the scene found a 2010 Hyundai Accent driven by 42-year-old Jameson Johnson of  Howard Lake, and a 1999 Buick Century driven by 32-year-old Brett Holwerda of  Danube. 

Preliminary investigation suggested Johnson’s vehicle was traveling south on Co Rd 21, and stopped at the intersection. It entered the intersection and struck the Holwerda’s vehicle, which was traveling west on County Road 11. 

Jameson Johnson, and his juvenile passenger were transported to  Carris Health – Willmar with unknown injuries. Brett Holwerda, was  treated on the scene for minor injuries. All occupants were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the  crash. 

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Renville Fire Rescue, Renville Medical Response Unit, and Olivia  Ambulance.
