Three people were injured when a vehicle rolled over in Kandiyohi County Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at about 3:51 p.m. on Sept. 21, Marcus Joel Ornelas, age 19, of Willmar was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban eastbound on Highway 40. Near County Road 7, the Suburban left the road and rolled.

Ornelas received non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Rice Hospital in Willmar. Two passengers — Brianna Marie Bauer, age 28, of Raymond, and Mahamed Ahmed Kadir, age 26, of Willmar — both sustained life-threatening injuries and were transported to a hospital in St. Cloud.

Assisting at the scene were the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, Raymond Ambulance and Fire Department, and Pennock Ambulance and Fire Department.
