Three injured in crash on icy Redwood County road Thursday

Three residents of Brooklyn Park were injured in a collision on an icy Redwood County road Thursday.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on March 16 Shane Larry Kramer, age 41, of Redwood Falls was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado westbound on Highway 19, and Pamela Dywane Union Powell, age 62, was driving a 2012 Buick in the same lane. Near the intersection of Justice Avenue, the vehicles made contact on the icy road.

Kramer was unharmed, but Powell was transported to CentraCare – Redwood with non-life threatening injuries, as was her passengers, Jalayah Deziah Hamer, age 3, andJaymiracle Latrice Milton, age 24, both of Brooklyn Park.

The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office and CentraCare Ambulance assisted at the scene.
