Three Ghent residents injured in Lyon County collision Friday

Three residents of Ghent were injured when their vehicles collided in Lyon County on Friday afternoon.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at a little after noon on April 22, Jose Trinidad Gallardo-Garcia, age 57, was driving a Chevrolet Malibu southbound on Highway 68. At the intersection with 160th Avenue, Gallardo-Garcia attempted to make a left turn, and collided with a following Buick LaCross being driven by Summer Danielle Hennen, age 18.

Gallardo-Garcia, Hennen, and Gallardo-Garcia’s passenger, Jose Abigail Gallardo, age 25, all received non-life threatening injuries, and were transported as needed to the hospital in Marshall.

The Minneota Police Department assisted at the scene.
