Texas woman and two passengers injured in Kandiyohi County Saturday

A Texas woman was one of three people injured in a Kandiyohi County collision Saturday afternoon.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Wendy Luz Leos, age 33, of San Antonio, Texas, was southbound on Highway 23, near North Shore Drive, at about 4:11 p.m. on August 29. Leos lost control of her 1999 Toyota Camry and went into the northbound lanes, and entered the east ditch. Her vehicle rolled and landed partially in the lane of traffic.

Leos was transported to Carris Health – Rice Memorial hospital with non-life threatening injuries, along with two passengers: James Leo, age 35, of San Antonio, and Joe Albert Magallanes, age 34, of Dumas, Texas.

Assisting on the scene were North AirCare, Kandiyohi County Sheriff Department and Rescue, New London Fire and Ambulance, and CentraCare Ambulance.
