Teenaged passenger injured in Kandiyohi County ATV accident Saturday

A teenager was seriously injured in a Kandiyohi County ATV accident on Saturday afternoon.

On Oct. 30, at 12:48 pm the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office responded to an ATV accident with injuries. A westbound 2016 Polaris Sportsman operated by a 13 year old driver was traveling on 210th Ave SW near 60th Ave SW when a 13 year old passenger fell off the ATV.

The passenger sustained facial and possible head injuries and was airlifted to the St. Cloud Hospital. The driver was uninjured.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Prinsburg Fire Department, Prinsburg First Responders, Raymond Ambulance Service and Life Link Air Ambulance.
