Suspect turns self in for Springfield Elementary School student hit-and-run

On Thursday, the Springfield Police Department asked the public for help looking for the driver of a four-door Chevy Malibu with tinted windows, suspected to be involved in a hit and run accident that occurred around 4:40 p.m. involving a Springfield Elementary Student.

At 9:09 p.m., the City of Springfield noted the driver of the suspect car had turned him or herself in. KLGR will update as more information becomes available.
