A St. Cloud man Wednesday pleaded guilty to a firearms charge stemming from a shootout with a teen in Willmar last fall.

According to KWLM, Jaedon Marshall, age 22,  pleaded guilty to 2nd Degree Riot/Armed With a Dangerous Weapon for an incident November 6th in which Marshall and a 15-year-old Willmar boy got into an argument over a cell phone.

The two reportedly opened fire on each other in the 700 Block of 3rd Street Southeast. Police say at least seven shots were fired. The teen was slightly injured and refused treatment.

Marshall was shot in the face and fled in a vehicle, but was eventually stopped near Litchfield. He was briefly hospitalized and then charged. In exchange for the guilty plea Wednesday, two other charges were dismissed. Marshall will be sentenced May 22.
