St. Charles woman injured when her vehicle slides off road near Vesta Sunday

A St. Charles woman was injured when her vehicle slid off the road near Vesta Sunday evening.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, at about 7 p.m. on Jan. 31, Emma Nicole Backes, age 19, was driving a 2005 Jeep Liberty westbound on Highway 19 when her vehicle went off the road near Fairview Avenue.

Backes was transported to the hospital in Marshall with non-life threatening injuries. The Echo Rescue and Cottonwood Ambulance assisted at the scene.
