The City of Redwood Falls has declared a snow emergency that went into effect at 5 a.m. on Wednesday, February 22.  Due to the multi-day nature of this storm the emergency declaration will remain in effect until 12:00 p.m., Friday, February 24 so plows can continue moving snow from the roadway.

RFPD has found several vehicles parked on city streets in violation of the snow emergency declaration.

This is a reminder there is NO PARKING on any city streets until the snow emergency expires at noon on February 24th.  Redwood Falls Police Department will be issuing parking citations for vehicles parked on city streets during the snow emergency and vehicles that have not been moved after 24 hours are subject to tow.
