Sanborn man sentenced for making felony-level threats of violence

A Sanborn man, Cameron Ryan Randolf, age 30, was sentenced in Redwood County Court for making felony level threats of violence.

According to court documents, on Oct. 24 of last year, the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a disturbance at a residence in Sanborn. The victim stated that Randolf had told her he was going to cut off her head and shoot her.

The next day, deputies visited with Randolf, who acknowledged he was angry, and that he may have used threatening words.

On Aug. 28, Randolf was sentenced to 30 days local confinement, two years supervised probation, and fines and fees of $310.
