A Robbinsdale Man, Christopher Eugene Dow, age 19, was sentenced in Redwood County Court last month for helping four juveniles damage an area residence with BB guns.

According to court documents, at about 4 p.m. on April 3, 2021, the Redwood Falls Police Department responded to a report of a house damaged by BB gun shots. The officers noted a storm door was shattered, and that there were holes in the living room window and a bedroom window.

A security cameras at the victims’ home showed a maroon Chrysler 300 driving in front of the residence, with a passenger sticking a gun out a window. Also, a witness saw the vehicle earlier, with Dow behind the wheel. Officers found Dow and the Chrysler at his residence several hours later. Dow confirmed he had been the driver, and he identified four juveniles who had used the BB guns to shoot at the victims’ residence while passengers in his car.

A search of the car turned up BB pellets in various locations inside, and a receipt from an area store for a BB gun and pellets purchased earlier that day.

On April 18, Christopher Eugene Dow was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third degree damage to property to 365 days local confinement, stayed 365 days for two years, two years supervised probation, and fines and fees of $285.
