Gabriel McMahon

A Texas man will spend a little over three months in prison after pleading guilty to fleeing police and possession of stolen property.

According to KWLM, on July 16, 27-year-old Gabriel McMahon of Lexington, Texas, brandished a stolen firearm while driving a stolen car during a road rage incident in Montevideo. Eventually he was arrested after crashing on the South First Street Bridge in Willmar.

Earlier this year McMahon pleaded guilty to the fleeing and possession charges. Charges of Felon in Possession of a Firearm and another charge of Possession of Stolen Property were dropped.

Judge Stephen Wentzell Thursday sentenced McMahon to 1 year in prison, but gave him credit for the 251 days he has already spent in jail since his arrest.
