Renville County road restrictions go into effect Friday

Renville County seasonal load restrictions will go into effect at 12:01 am on Friday, March 6, and will apply to all roads in Renville County.

Per MN State Statute 169.87, unless posted otherwise by the local road authority the weight on any single axle shall not exceed five tons on any unpaved street and ten tons on any paved street. The posted weight will always govern the legal weight of the roadway. The local road postings may change as conditions change to protect the roadway from additional damage. There will be no overweight permits issued during this time.
