Renville County Announces Upcoming Elevator Upgrades for Courthouse and Government Services Center

 

Renville County is pleased to announce plans for upgrades to the elevators serving the Courthouse and the Government Services Center.

The upgrade schedule is tentatively set as follows:

• Government Services Center: Monday, June 3, through Tuesday, June 18
• Courthouse: Monday, June 24, through Thursday, July 11

During this period, individuals with mobility challenges (if you cannot safely go up or down stairs) who need to conduct County transactions in offices not located on the main floor of the buildings are encouraged to contact the respective offices beforehand to confirm service availability.  A County directory can be found at www.renvillecountymn.gov/departments.

• Government Services Center offices not located on the main floor include:

o   4-H/Extension

o   Administration

o   County Attorney

o   Emergency Management

o   Environmental Services

o   Housing/Economic Development

o   Public Health/WIC

o   Public Works

o   Restorative Justice

• Courthouse offices not located on the main floor include:

o   Assessor

o   Auditor/Treasurer

o   Courts

o   Driver and Vehicle Services

o   Recorder

For those who confirm service availability, accessible entrances have been designated:

• Government Services Center: Enter Door 14 located on the East side of the building
• Courthouse: Enter Door A located on the North side of the building

Upon entering through the designated accessible doors, a phone and service directory will be provided for individuals to contact the office they need. Office representatives will then meet them on the main floor to assist with needs.
