Just a reminder — Tornado sirens across Minnesota will be tested this week as part of the state’s annual drill. The Minnesota Department of Public Safety will hold two drills next Thursday in coordination with local authorities. Sirens will go off at 1:45 and 6:45 p.m. Weather radios across the state will also broadcast a simulated tornado warning.

Each year, Homeland Security and Emergency Management in collaboration with the National Weather Service, sponsors Severe Weather Week in Minnesota.
