A Redwood Falls woman, Lanette Marie Rayburn, age 64, was sentenced in Redwood County District Court this month for having a “disorderly house” after law enforcement was called to a Redwood Falls house she co-owns on three separate occasions for separate people suffering drug overdoses.

The first incident occurred on April 21, 2020, when law enforcement found an unresponsive female having trouble breathing from an overdose of heroin and fentanyl. Rayburn was present at the house in this instance.

The second incident was about four months later, on Aug. 9, 2020. In this instance, law enforcement found an unresponsive male suffering an overdose of heroin and other illegal substances.

The third incident occurred about three months later, on Nov. 18, 2020, when law enforcement found a female overdosed on a variety of illegal drugs.

In all three instances, a variety of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia was also located in the house, often in plain view.

On May 9, Lanette Marie Rayburn was sentenced for gross misdemeanor disorderly house to two years supervised probation, eight hours community work service, and fees and fines of $300.
